Greg is the founding member of French Law Offices and has more than 20 years’ Litigation experience. His background includes personal injury law, employment litigation, estate litigation, construction litigation, contract disputes, and regulatory matters.
Greg has appearances before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Federal Court (Trial Division), the Tax Court of Canada, and all levels of Court in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. He has also appeared before arbitrators and administrative tribunals. He represents clients who are subject to regulation by the CNLOPB and PUB. He has acted for both employees and employers, and has experience conducting workplace investigations.
He graduated from Dalhousie (B.Comm. (Hons.) Co-op ’94), the University of New Brunswick (LLB ’98) and the University of Toronto (LLM ’09).
He was appointed Queens Counsel in 2018.
Greg is Chair of the Teacher Certification Review Panel, a Board Member of the Legal Aid Commission, and the Chief adjudicator with the RNC Adjudication Panel.
Outside of the office, Greg is an officer in the Canadian Army reserves, and a youth volunteer with the CLB. He proudly provides pro bono legal services to the Canadian Mental Health Association – NL.
